Steampunk Extravaganza 2026

Yeovil Railway Centre was once again visited by Time Travelling Victorians, and more modern folk in their Steampunk finery. As is now traditional for our Steampunk event the sun was out and it was a glorious summer day, if perhaps a little too hot. The bands played, the train steamed up and down carrying passengers in our new open wagon, and the Steampunks Promenaded. All while the impressive line up of classic cars were on show in the event field. There was also "Tea Duelling" and “Teapot Racing”. It was a great day and a big thank you to the entertainers, Julie Dunn, Sharon Lazybird, The Reservoir Dogs, Steel Leaf and Major Blunder as well as all the classic car owners.
